Ten Books I Meant To Read In 2017 But Didn’t Get To

Hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

There were so many :(.

  1. The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi

I actually started this one, but I got busy and never actually finished it. The idea is intriguing, so I definitely plan on picking this one up again.

2. The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

I’ve heard so many good things about this series. And I love the cover, so obviously I need to get it.

3. The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancy

I bought it because I really enjoyed The 5th Wave, and now I feel like I have to read it.  I just was never “in the mood” for it.

4. A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir

I LOVED An Ember in the Ashes, and I bought this when it came out. I was so excited, but I was really busy when it came out.

5. In a Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware

I bought this on a whim at Target. I meant to read it over Halloween, but I decided to watch Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown instead. Oops.

6. The Orphan Master’s Son by Adam Johnson

Been on the list for the past two years…probably should get around to it.

neverwhere7. Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard

I’m actually not a fan of the first book, but I hope that I find this one more enjoyable.

8. Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman

I’ve only read one of his books (The Graveyard Book). This one sounds weird, and I like weird.

9. Misery by Stephen King

King is one of my favorite authors. I try to read a few books by him a year. I just didn’t get to my third.

10. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis

I’ve never read this. How have I never read this?
