TBR: December

Classic: The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson

I majored in English; I teach English. I’m fairly well-read, but there’s so much I haven’t. In an effort to conquer the classics, I’m trying to read at least one classic a month. This is one I’ve been meaning to read for awhile, and it’s fairly short. And honestly, after this semester, I need short.

Revisit: A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir

An Ember in the Ashes is one of my favorite YA novels. I loved it. But I started A Torch Against the Night at an incredibly busy time last year (it came out at the beginning of the school year). Safe to say, I didn’t finish it. So this month I plan on trying…again.

Owned: The Star Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi

This one has been collecting dust on my shelf for several months and considering I’m on a SUPER tight budget (I bought a new car…so you know how that goes), I’m trying to stick to books I own and books I can check out from the library. Anyway, this one sounds interesting and I’m in the mood for fantasy.

Anyway,  let me know if any of you have read these books in the comments below. Did you like them? Hate them? And more importantly: What’s on your reading list for this month?
